The Toolbox for Video Storytelling
Thanks for visiting the Toolbox for Digital Storytelling. I’m John Walton and I wrote the original book version shown above with the editorial and design assistance of Paul Mouw and my wife, Marj who copyedited the work.
It is an outgrowth of my MA thesis at the Wheaton College Graduate School. It also reflects nearly thirty years as a missionary photographer and video producer. About half of that time was spent in the Philippines and the last 14 years as a Video Producer and International Media Development Manager for Awana International.
In this blog I hope to update the material as well as to make it more accessible to nationals in developing countries. It is a donor supported effort, so if you find it helpful, please consider donating via one of the PayPal links you will find throughout the blog.
It will be an ongoing effort, so please come back from time to time for updates. Not everything is up at this point, but hopefully, throughout the Spring and early Summer, I’ll get the other parts added.
